  • We accept payment by VISA, MasterCard, American Express or Discover
  • You are welcome to send your order through the mail with a check or money order, but the items you order may not be available by the time your letter reaches us. Your order may be delayed up to two weeks while your check clears the bank.
  • We are not able to use PayPal or similar services due to wildlife regulations / policies.
  • We do not ship COD.
  • Don't send cash through the mail.
  • Idaho residents will be charged 6% sales tax unless we have a Sales Tax Exemption Certificate from you on file
  • Due to a United States Supreme Court ruling, collection of Sales Tax may change in the future. Sales Tax Exemption certificates can be emailed to CustomerService@hideandfur.com or faxed to (208) 882-5715
  • We charge a $ 3.00 small order fee on all orders under $ 30.00
  • All items are postage extra - if you don't include money to cover postage, your order will be delayed.
  • Our web site is always up-to-date. What you see listed is what is available right now. Once an item is sold, it is automatically removed from our web site, and newly available items are automatically added.

  • Most orders ship the same day.
  • We can ship your order by Post Office Priority Mail (view service map for times) or Express Mail (1-2 days) or UPS Ground (view service map for times), 3rd Day, 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air services.
  • Next Day or Overnight Orders must be placed by 12:00 noon, Pacific Time, to go out the same day
  • Customer pays actual shipping and insurance costs, no additional handling or packing fees.
  • Because we carry inventory of all different shapes, sizes and weights and offer several shipping options, we can't tell you ahead of time what shipping costs will be for any given combination of items, but on request we can give you an estimate at the time of your order. You can check the Post Office web site or UPS web site to get an idea of costs (our ZIP Code is 83843).

  • We charge a 10% restocking fee on all returned merchandise
  • All merchandise must be returned in original condition within 10 days of original receipt accompanied by original invoice.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping both ways on returned merchandise


    • Unless otherwise indicated, all antler sets are shipped with intact skull plates. Because of the difficulty associated with shipping antler sets, we are not responsible for cracked or broken antler sets. No cracked or broken antler sets may be returned. Antler sets are shipped at your risk.

    All taxidermy items have a tamper-proof identity tag attached - all sales are final once this tag has been removed!

    All dressed, raw or salted items which have been soaked down or relaxed in any manner cannot be returned.

    If you are purchasing raw, dried or salted items to tan yourself or by a third party, note that there is an inherent risk in the tanning process and we cannot guarantee the outcome of anyone else's work.

    MOSCOW HIDE AND FUR assumes no responsibility for delivery condition of frozen items.

    No, no, no! Due to regulations and costs, we do not accept orders from outside the United States or that are intended to be shipped outside the United States.

    Per the United States Fish and Wildlife Service we are also not able to ship to APO/FPO/DPO (Military or Diplomatic Postal Service) addresses.

    All items we offer for sale are legally taken and can legally be sold by us according to the laws of the State of Idaho (Idaho License 729-21-000005). We assume when you order an item that you can legally possess that item according to the laws of your state or country. If you order items from us and you cannot possess them according to the laws of your state or country, MOSCOW HIDE AND FUR will hold you responsible for any penalties and/or legal fees incurred by MOSCOW HIDE AND FUR.
    All offerings of merchandise shall be interpreted to mean that MOSCOW HIDE AND FUR is not offering to sell items of which the sale is prohibited in your state.

    Because we carry many one-of-a-kind items, all items are sold on an availability basis only.
